Stakeholders come from individuals, groups, and organizations.
Individuals
Individuals typically reflect a distinct viewpoint for the project and are useful to avoid duplicative input.
Groups
Groups may reflect heterogenous individuals or organization units.
Organizations
Organizations may be a single unit of stakeholder or represent partnering organizations.
Perspectives
Stakeholder perspective reflects the source of their biases.
Internal
These stakeholders represent employees of the organization.
Users
Organization users constitute the most common and primary type of internal stakeholder. The length of their tenure, organizational culture, and interdepartmental relationships correlate to their flexibility and risk profile.
Leadership
External
These stakeholders represent members of organization(s) outside the project team.
